In mid-September we took our RV to Emma Wood State Beach for a few days to escape the 90-degree heat at home.
We had Site #90 (the farthest south one) with no neighbor on one side, which gave us an unobstructed view.
Here's the view from the "dining room" window...
... and the view from the "living room" window.
This video clip shows a panoramic view.
We spent our days relaxing, which included playing board games, watching the dolphins...
...and the sea lions ...
... and the sea birds.
We also enjoyed watching the many para-surfers (aka kite-surfers).
Short video clip of para-surfers.
We'd never seen a paddle-boarder actually surf a wave before.
Cooper was in heaven, smelling the ocean breeze with the morning sun on his face.
Even though the high temp was 72, the inside of our coach quickly warmed up into the 80s with the sun shining in the windows. After I extended the window awnings we installed just before this trip, the inside temp quickly dropped down to the low 70s.
Cooper still enjoyed the window, even without the sun shining in.
Dinner always tastes better with an ocean view.
We got a kick out of this sign at the start of the bike path along the beach.
