10/06/16, Thursday: Santa Fe, NM to Albuquerque, NM

We stopped at the La Cieneguilla Petroglyph Site, in search of petroglyphs we could see “up close and personal”. We hiked up into the rocks to see what we could see. And true to the internet research Chris had done, the rocks were covered with glyphs. People wrote that there were lots of Kokopelli glyphs to be seen, but we didn't see any in the direction we turned at the top of the trail, at least, not any that we would identify as Kokopelli beyond the shadow of a doubt. Maybe if we'd gone the other direction ... oh well. It was still fun to see so many, and up so close!
