Next stop was Davis Creek Regional Park near New Washoe City, NV (old Washoe City is now a ghost town).
The loop that was better suited to long RVs was all pull-through sites, and Chris wanted to check out the other loop to see if there was a spot big enough for us. So we did . . . In spite of the sign saying, “Narrow road with tight turns, no big rigs” or something like that.
We grazed a tree, ever so slightly, with the side of our RV, so had to back up a bit and change our angle to move forward. We managed, though, and found a site that was long enough, though getting level was difficult (notice the left front tire).
